Some 100 musicians from 20 countries play in the Tonhalle-Orchester Zürich, performing 50 different programmes in over 100 concerts per season. Over the past two decades, the orchestra has appeared in more than 70 cities in 16 countries. Over 40 CD recordings document its journey to the top. The complete recordings of all the Beethoven, Mahler, Brahms and Schubert symphonies, and most recently the Ravel box, have aroused great interest.
